Elect Kristina Konstanty

I’m Kristina Konstanty and I am running for a seat on the CUSD300 School Board. I have been attending the school board meetings, financial meetings and parent advisory committee meetings. I have been influential in some recent board policy changes and uncovered many areas that could use improvement. My passion for running is accountability and increased parent involvement to further our students’ academic successes.

I am married with 2 children. We moved to Gilberts in 2015 from Elgin for this wonderful community and school district. I have an 8-year-old at Gilberts Elementary and a 12-year-old at Dundee Middle. I love volunteering at their schools. The staff at both are outstanding! I just volunteered for the 2nd grade class Christmas party. At the middle school I volunteered overnight for the midnight mile and at the all-day career fair.

Besides volunteering at the schools, I also volunteer at the Dundee Township Park District as a soccer coach and at St. Mary’s in Huntley as an American Heritage Girls troop leader. I work full-time as a registered nurse at the local community hospital. I love to work and play in our community. My hope is that I can get on the school board to ensure our community continues to grow and succeed.
